		<description>OK, now that I&#039;ve seen it, here&#039;s my take on it: Up till the Holocene (now!) the video is *reasonably* correct, and as we map more it will get closer to the &#039;rightest&#039; we can be. We have mapped enough layers and surfaces, sinks and seas, to get a fairly good &#039;picture&#039; of how our current land masses became what we know today.

From the Holocene on (some are wanting a new age, the &quot;Anthropocene&quot; to describe now on, till we all croak!), it&#039;s pretty much geopoetry! We can forecast fairly well perhaps 100,000 years into the future but beyond that, the rest is a country song. Cute, catchy, but VERY loosely based on reality.
