you have done well with Eudora for that many years Chuck... I had (and still do have) a soft spot for Emailer and hung in with it for many many years and still have it running for historic emails... but Entourage had to happen for work use in the end - but Mail has never grabbed me other than working well with the other stuff in OSX. good luck with your change.... I'm facing one going from Entourage to Outlook 2003 at work - such progress!

Ah, yes. I'm another long-time Eudora user -- started with 3.0 in '93 or '94 -- and switched to Gmail's web-based UI when I upgraded to 10.5. There's got to be a decent replacement out there somewhere.

I sympathize with your having to change mail clients. It's like saying goodbye to an old friend.

I wasn't planning on blogging my transition to Gyazmail so much as saying goodbye to Eudora, but as I always try to give the people what they want, I'll plan on writing a bit about that Schinde.

I know that Rog. My wife is using Eudora under 10.5 on the family iMac.

I've just had a few problems with it myself under 10.4, and I know that Eudora's days are numbered. Better to start the transition now than wait until it finally breaks for good. My switch to 10.5 is merely an external trigger, not the primary reason for the switch.
