I don’t know much about this Devin-bodied sportsracer, but I like the way it looks. Taken at the Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing… somewhere in northern Florida. I have no idea why this car was located here, surrounded by drag racers. But, there were a few oddballs in there too, like a 1950 Volkswagen 1300.

There wer at least three sizes of Devin bodys and just as in all kitcars, the end result was a direct result of the builder’s skill and/or budget. Some were *quite* fast and gave much more established cars a run for their money! I saw a number of them compete at CDR in my childhood. Frankly, as a styling exercise, I *still* think it’s a good looking car!
