Our friend John “Mad Dog” Morrow is sliding around some snow-covered road in France as we speak, participating in the Monte Carlo Historique. We all wish him luck and safe passage all the way home.
He promises me though, that he & his daughter, in their E-type FHC will join me & my dad at this year’s Monte Shelton NW Classic Rally later in the summer. Above is a shot of a big Healey waiting for its start at last year’s Monte Shelton.
There are four classic cars shown in this photo. Can you name them all?
Alfa Guilietta, Triumph TR-6 and I can’t see the car on the left…:( It’s black..that count?
mmh… from the very little we can see… Jag XK120?
Damn, that’s a pretty Healey.
Very good guess Philippe. It is not an XK, or even a Jaguar. It is said that it was one of the inspirations for the XK 120’s design. It is a pre-war car.
The engine bay is even more pretty. You could eat off this Healey!
Supposedly Donald Healey would only drive Healey Blue cars.
could it be a Bugatti ?
Nope, not a Bugatti.
well,… now I found something amazing… the BMW 328 roadster
Indeed you have Philippe! it is a 1938 BMW 327/28.
