There’s a reason they advert it as a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.” I work with people who’ve ‘wintered over’ in McMurdo sound, and I was offered the ‘opportunity’ to do it. They said, “I’ll never do THAT again!!!”
As Chuck knows, I cannot deal with THAT much cloudy, dark, -100F below weather. Colorado’s juuuust fine, thankyewveddymuch.
