I like to pull out unusual machines for weekend CPotD posts. I doubt this one qualifies as a “stumper” but it certainly is unusual, and both are quite rare.
Can you name the cars?

…and I’m not talking about the Doritos van!
Volvo P1800? and a classic Ferrari…
I should probably know the model but I mean red cars… who really cares… 😉
Jerome
NOT a Volvo, sorry Jerome.
was a stab in the dark guess anyway…
I’ll let the more knowledgeable types get back to it now… 🙂
Jerome
Definitly an Italian car. The oval grill is a trademark from the Vignale body shop of this era. It could be an early Ferrari from Vignale but that would be to easy
so my answer would be that it is a Cisitalia 202B.
The coupe looks british to me. Almost looks like a one off Austin Healey maybe? Or maybe a Jensen? The red one is most likely a ferrari, not sure which one.
Ove, you are close, and yet SO far away. 😉
Not Italian, but your answer is partially right… and it starts with a “C”.
Sundeep, way off. But you’re sort of right on the Ferrari. (Come on guys, this Ferrari is an Icon, you SHOULD know it!)
Perhaps we have a stumper here? (I doubt it, as the ringers haven’t weighed in yet… John, Paul, CorvairDad, & Ringer, er, Roger?)
Cisitalia…Ferrari america?
Ok so I presume the Ferrari is a 250 of some sort…
no idea about the other car
Jerome
Ringer Paul goes down in flames, on BOTH cars!
Next!
1953 Cunningham C3 (body by Vignale – thanks Ove) and a 1960 Ferrari 250 GT PininFarina cabriolet.
Yes. The full name is “Cunningham C3 Vignale Continental Coupe” and the Ferrari is PF’s equivalent of Scaglietti’s (& Cameron Frye’s Dad’s) California Spyder
