Someone stuffed a V8 into an MGA? I like the MG valve covers – nice touch!
Indeed. My head snapped back when I saw this at the Tulip Rally last year. Otherwise this is a gorgeous MGA. Very nice paint.
Looks like they kept all of the original lines (no bonnet bulge).
Good LORD!! They used a Chrysler alternator on a Buick motor! How *could* they?

Re: the MG valve covers? IIRC, that’s dead stock, from an MGB V-8, which used the venerable and really-good B.O.P. engine. It’s really too bad American mechanics (and equally clueless owners) were too damn dumb to grok that engine, for it truely is/was one of the best engiens to ever come out of GM.
And folks wonder why GM’s tanked….
