I arrived yesterday afternoon. I apologize for making those of you that guessed the stats for the drive a bit, but in the meantime, enjoy the movie above, (or here to view) a timelapse of the drive. It starts just before dawn in Portland, Oregon, and finishes at the SF Marriott. There is a section of NoCal misssing due to a computer error. The WA portion was sort of dull to look at being in the dark.
More details of yesterday to come later… I have an important errand to run.

Btw what did you think of Steve’s keynote. For some reason I came away feeling disappointed but then again I wasn’t in the same room so the Steve Jobs Reality Distrotion Field didn’t effect me… as much.
I’m immune to the RDF, and to be honest a 2+ hour keynote on ONE product was tad dull. It is s very nice phone, and I suspect I may buy one. But as always it is the things that weren’t said that leave me wondering. What other OS X apps run, can I fire up iTerm and SSH into another box? Can I run an ARD or RDC session? Can I run a VOIP client over the 802.11 connection? We’ll see I guess.
