This morning I pumped the hydraulic fluid out of my car lift and dismantled the lift mechanism.
This is essentially the final step prior to moving. I’ve packed up and organized everything else. The movers come in a little over a week. On Tuesday Nicholas & I depart for Oregon as he begins school on Wednesday. We’ll be living in a hotel for at least a week while the house closing completes. It has been a long and stressful month for the Goolsbees… here’s hoping things start to smooth out going forward.
I’m going to miss you, Chuck, even though I’ve been pretty bad at being able to actually see you when in Seattle! I know you’ll have a fantastic time at the new job and new town.
Thanks Glenn. I’ll be back at least twice in the coming month or so to retrieve cars. Plus: My employer has a new POP at the Westin, and we’ll be tasked with maintaining it. As I’m the guy with the greatest familiarity with 2001 6th Ave I imagine I’ll be in town a few times per year for various maintenance items too. I’ll stay in touch!
