A gathering of three beautiful E-types. On the left is Adrian Brennan’s FHC, ahead is Doug & Constance Martin’s OTS. This was taken as we left the Seattle Jaguar Club‘s 2004 Slalom event. So… what’s wrong with this picture.

Looks like you are stationary.
Red lights, brake lights, sharp spokes…
but the speedo says 45mph?

You’re stopped at a light but the speedometer reads 45.
This is fun! Where’s Waldo?
GOOD eyes, Aaron. What kind of gearing you got in that thing, anyway, turning 900 rpm at that kind of speed? What do you top out at, about 300?
…not to mention the *weirdly* askew traffic lights!!! Guess they left’m up, in case the new ones screwed the pooch……:)
Yep, you all got it. My speedo was acting weird back then… would waver about and frequently just stick in places. Got it fixed by Nissonger shortly after that. Sure made rallying even MORE challenging!

This is also a good litmus test for a True British Car owner. If you looked at the Oil Pressure & Water Temperature gauges BEFORE you looked at anything else, you know you are one. Seek professional help immediately.
