  1. Oh no, not other competition. I’m going to buy a book on Ferraris as these different models make my head spin and grey matter isn’t what it used to be. Same goes for the Mercs. And what is that Green Thing at the back? Surely it’s not Italian. It looks like a Beemer but I haven’t got the energy or interest to research German cars.

  2. expensive silver Ferrari, expensive red Ferrari… and blue thing with Isle of Man logo on it … but is the green thing a 70’s-80’s Aston Vantage perhaps?

  3. bastard…

when I first looked at it it sort of looked like the profile of an Aussie Falcon…. which made me think of the later model Jag (Ford) sedans… but nope … not quite right

speaking of Jags – with the sale to the Indians at least Ford will have to stop the copyright silliness about old Jag photos etc in calendars!

  4. Ah it is a 77/78 Aston Vantage. Shame on me for confusing it with a Beemer -I’m going to stand in the corner all day to atone.

Note to Jerome: This maybe slightly politically incorrect but since the Tata acquisition I’ve started to refer to my daily driver (a 10 year old XJ8) as the “Chutney Chariot” instead of the “Coventry Crock”

  5. like the new name Mad Dog 🙂 …. nice car to have as a daily driver! I take a train 4 days and cycle 1 – the wife gets the 302 for here commute!

  6. Yes a V-12 Vantage. I don’t recall the year. The red Ferrari is (I think) a 330 GTC. The silver one is a 275 GTB/4. The silver car just showing its nose is a Mercedes-Benz 450SL.
