I don’t know how many of you read The Economist. There are a couple of semantic errors in this article about Diesel technology, but overall it is nice to see a lot of thought going toward improving the EFFICIENCY of internal combustion engines. Not to mention Diesel getting good press.
The Economist has become my favorite magazine…

I remember my father raving about direct injection for gasoline engines about ten years ago. I’m a bit surprised I haven’t seen or heard more about them since.
Mitsi had a GDI motor here in a family sedan type model a few years ago – never seemed to take off or be pushed as something out of the ordinary…
