The best editorial I’ve seen to date about GM’s bailout begging.

This article sums up EXACTLY how I feel about the whole situation. GM is awash in problems of its own making and is now begging for a taxpayer-funded bailout. “Man Up!” says The Truth About Cars.

  1. Can’t disagree….ESPECIALLY about kicking Wagoner out on his ass…with his (doubtlessly already written in his contract) golden CARGO parachute.

I like that sign that was on the ‘Net, back in September, when Wall Street began to fall badly: It was a picket sign, held by some now-unemployed Wall Street denizen…..

    JUMP.
    you fuckers.

Sorta the same thing, just not as erudite.

  2. I agree wholeheartedly. Save a portion of the economic stimulus money to give the workers a decent package and healthcare while they find new jobs. Wagoner is an incompetent, rapacious idiot. I’m still embarrassed to look at a Pontiac Aztek. I wouldn’t trust the GM design team to build a functional toaster. Did you hear that some of these guys flew private jets to D.C. when they went to grovel for bailout money: http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/11/19/autos.ceo.jets/index.html

    Off with their heads!
