I picked up an el cheapo discontinued Nikon Coolpix L11 camera that is directly supported by my software. The image quality is far better than the iSight I’ve been using for the task. Above is a test run from the other night. Whaddya think?

  2. Looks good, CG! I’m a huge dummy as regards the quality diff twixt your old cam and this one, but it does seem less –jerky?

Was this a night shift, into the dawn?

  3. Looks good. I’m curious how you got such long battery life out of the L11. Did you use the AC adapter?

  4. well, I actually didn’t. 😉

The batteries died. This is two sessions pasted together.

Given that the LCD screen stays off when driven by cable I bet with a good set of AAs I could get several hours out of it though. We’ll see.
