Unfortunately not to me. I swear, this is the most beautiful car built since the E-type though. My gawd… it is amazing.

I’m soooo stoked at this! In ways, I think the Alfa might surpass the E-Type in sheer looks: Only 40 years on will we know but, JEEEEzuz! That’s a gorgeous car!
Now, if ONLY one could get it w/ a TDI diesel, eh?
Very nice indeed ! but quite exclusive… 500 cars, 8 cylinders, 4,7 l and 450 HP.
Any idea on the price?? must be exclusive also …
How much?? ….way more than I can afford!
Doesn’t change the fact that it looks better than anything on the road now, or in the past 40 years!
I must be influenced by classics,… I have the impression to see something from the Ferrari 250 GTO (shorter)
…and he uses it to commute to the train station to go into the city. Like the Ferrari California (the new one) it is based on the Maserati GrandTurismo Coupe’.

and as far as price- the reported MSRP is roughly $300K with premiums of the same amount being paid for the first cars.
one other thing (sorry for the multi- post), but the only thing that’s a semi-letdown about this beauty is that it only comes with a semi-manual ‘box with flappy paddles. Were it available in a manual, it would truly deserve a place in the Pantheon of great cars IMO.
Love it! Quite the testicoli de cane. I wonder if the cup holders are any good…?
More seriously does anyone know when Alfas accessible to the common person are coming back to the US? Seems like I’ve been hearing “Alfa Romeo set to return to America” since about 2001. That MiTo hatchback looks very nice. A turbo diesel version would be even nicer.
it looks good from that angle but not so sure from others – rather have an Aston thanks…

Perhaps the true progenitor is Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2 : http://www.supercars.net/cars/1966.html
Hrm. Just staring at that foto, and thought….what if the E-Type had been able to evolve, progress…
Doesn’t take a vivid imagination to think this would be the E of the 21st century!
I forgot to add: N i i ice geology, in the background!
😉
