
Well, not really. This was just a vintage rally practical joke, and a good one at that.
This car is one of those famous Euro-American hybrids, with raw yankee power mated to a sleek Italian chassis. This car looks and sounds wonderful. Yeah the name is right on the back, but go ahead and guess.
Even w/o the “Grifo” on the back, this is unmistakedly an Iso; from a company who was, like Lamborghini, rich not for the cars they made but the industrial products which funded the car Jones.
In this case…refrigerators. AND, BMW owes their LIFE to Iso, for buying from them the rights to their Isetta (“Little Iso”) and making it into a, *ahem*, REAL car.

Yessir…they’re the same lenses as on SII/SII Lotus Elans and SII/SIII E-Types!
