Reminds me of one of my favorite cartoons, which hung in my garage for years: It shows a pedal car, kid sitting in it, looking puzzled. His friend is kneeling next to the car, looking up under it, and saying, “I think I see the problem, Billy. Your shorts are caught in the *transmission*.”
LOL!!!
For those who love pedal cars, the Museum of American Speed in Oamah, Nebraska has an *ASTONISHINGLY* large collection of the things (perhaps in excess of 500!), all museum-quality displayed. They even have the Bugatti pedal car specially made for a young boy, by the name of Rainier Louis Henri Maxence Bertrand Grimaldi; yes, Prince Rainier!
That’s adorable… and I love the details, especially the 10-speed chain guards to look like brakes and the fact that he used a maraschino cherry jar top for the “radiator cap”. I wonder how many jars he looked at before he realized that one was the right size?
