This looks like a highly customized Graham Hollywood. Be interested in learning more…
I was really hoping Mr. Wigton would show us how “easy” these are, but yes, you are almost correct Roger. It is a 1939 Graham-Paige ‘Spirit of Motion’ aka “The Sharknose.” The “Hollywood” came a year later, and after that they stopped building cars and carried on as a tank builder (a growth industry in the 1940s!)

Woops…I’m too slow! Clearly a Graham-Paige! Now, dear and gentle audience,. what platform/car marque was the G-P based upon?..;)
FYI: Because I have a steam-powered (NestZeo dialup!) Internet connection at home, I don’t log to yer site at home: ergo, If you post ANYTHING on a Friday I won’t see or respond to it (too damned frustratiing!) till Tuesday! So, Messr. Goolsbee, ifn’s yer gunna post brainbusters for me (I welcome the challenge, and I *promise* not to google it to answer!) git’r dun before Friday or on Tweesday..capische?..;)
