We’re still looking for a guess for yesterday’s CPotD. Meanwhile, taking a break from the bonnets theme, here’s a BMW badge from a somewhat unique machine.
I spent the day fixing the Jaguar. The steering column is finally sorted out, and several minor things fixed. I’ll have more detail on the day’s activity tomorrow. Stay tuned.

One of the MOST beautiful Beemers made! I had a 2000 Cs at one time…another car I wished we hadn’t sold.

Is that orange peel in the paint in the badge close-up, or is the texture of the paint surface rough? The paint in the second shot looks really nice.
I honestly don’t recall. When I see the car again in June and have a closer look.
