When you visit again, remind me to show my rock from Pend’Oreille…;) As a geologist, it’s how I ‘mark” the territories I’ve visited by ‘harvesting’ rocks from each place! In the case of Pend’Oreille (yes I can even *pronounce it right!) the rock was provided me by a colleague who was doing his master’s work in the area.

That pronunciation test, plus Puyallup, and Sequim are handy tests for weeding out the true pacific northwesterners. =)
