This could be an easy one, given some of the regular guessers around here, but we’ll see.

Well, there’s a 300 SL next to whatever it is! Ya got me on this one..I ought to know, given the very distinctive hood closures but…Ya stumped me!
oooh! I stumped Paul! 😉
I bet Roger knows it.
It’s an SS100, but I admit I had to confirm my suspicions with a bit of snooping. 😉
I wonder then the “red sports car” thing hit…or were there just as many of them back then as there were in the 50’s and 60’s? You rarely see a vintage sports car of this period in red and yet 1 in 4 E-Types are red.
An SS100 yes. I figured the lights IN FRONT of the grille rather than beside was a dead giveaway.
Ironically I have only seen two SS100s in the flesh, and one was red!

Not really a ‘dead gieaway,’ since LOTSA cars had their lights in front of, rather than beside the grille. I’d wager a similar angle of an Invicta, for instance, taken from the same angle, would look nearly identical. Hat’s off to ya, Rog, for a great catch!
I can “see’ the SS100’s strange line (side to side) of the front fender, now that it’s been pointed out me..oh well, ya win some, ya lose some!
