I miss my Dad, and we didn’t do as much ‘car guy’ stuff as I would have liked, but a few trips stand out in my memory, most notably accompanying Dad, in the E to his 50th high school reunion in Scottsbluff, NE, in 1983. Oddly enough, that trip was Tweety’s last till he saw the road again in 2009.
That car is a cathedral, in/around which a good number of holy moments have occurred. Thanks for sharing a few of yours with me.
