Car Photo Of The Day: Name That Car.

easy peasy

I think this is an easy one, so Roger & Paul should hang back a while and let somebody new play. 😉

Do you know what sort of car this is?

Take a guess in the comments.

  1. Well it was a lucky guess. Astons are a bit exotic for me. I usually fraternise with Jags and Mini Coopers (of the classic variety). Love your blog BTW. I’ve discovered just recently and spent hours reading your old posts, especially on rallying.

Should you be interested, my own blog can be found here:

I’ve just completed the 2008 Monte Carlo Historique rally and will be posting on it in the next few days.

  2. Thanks! I’ve added your site to my RSS reader and look forward to your Rally Report.

I see you are local as well! Hop in your car some weekend and come on up… we can go for a drive on some of the very nice roads around here in the hills. It will have to be in April though as I have no exhaust on the Jag right now. 😉

Think about joining Doug B’s rally in June:

Or the Monte Shelton rally in Oregon later in the summer.

  3. Chuck: I’ve been thinking about both these rallys with my E type (’66 fixed head). The problem is finding a driver/ co-driver. I was hoping I could use my daughter but she’s decided to go to Korea and teach English this summer. But I’m working on other possibilities…

  4. I see Doug B’s rally Chuck lists Classic Cars and pre 1975!! the HQ could enter! what a laugh! – imagine the sneers it would get!

  5. exotic AND classic!! LOL!

I gather there are some followers of Aussie tanks over there – the Aussie Mad Max movie got the ’73 Ford Falcon XB coupe a following and a number were imported to the US
