This is a Fiat Abarth 1000 I saw at Amelia Island a few years ago. Hard to make a guessing game since it is wearing a nametag! “Hello, my name is: Fiat Abarth 1000” 😉
Pretty little car, eh?
If you guys want to challenge your car guessing skills have a go at the pair in the background.
I think the car behind the Abarth (gorgeous) is a Fiat Dino coupe of late 60s vintage. They had Ferrari motors and I’ve always fancied them. Heaven only knows what the car at the very back is, though.
Actually the rear window profile looks like a Fiat 500 or 600. Also there appears to be something sticking up. Could this be an opened bonnet or engine cover (or whatever they call it in Italian) in the style of the racing Abarths?
Yes & yes, I think. The theme here on the Concours field was Abarth cars, so these are all little Italian jobs that had been stung by the scorpion.
Yay! Another couple of lucky guesses (actually I didn’t need to guess the Dino).
