It’s a Hudson, I think a Pacemaker 4-door rather than the two-door Hornet, based on the lack of full-width windscreen and side-window chrome. ’52 would be a good guess.
Sorry Roger, while it is an “orphan” it is NOT a Hudson.
Ah. So its stablemate the Nash Rambler? I’m definitely no expert on these, despite my earliest car memories being of my dad’s rusty c. 1960 Rambler American wagon. (We definitely had a bit different experience in the car’s-of-our-fathers experience!)
Nash would be my guess….really tough one, CG!
It *is* a Nash, but it is not a ’52, nor a Rambler.
Car Geek of the Month title to anyone who can correctly name the model and year. 😉
1951 Nash Statesman?
My guess is it’s a Nash/Austin Metropolitan…
Mark Webber is the car geek of the month. 😉
Mark Webber? Not the F1 driver surely…?
Really? Wow….I cannot recognize *any* part of that as a Metropolitan…full pix, pleeeease?

Woops..misread the replies! I can buy it as a Statesman! Pay no mind to the guitar, there….

I am filled with hubris, and my heart takes wing.
Listen, chaps, I’d love to hang around but I have a little business to take care of in Brazil next week…
