Bonus Dashboard Shot.
No guesswork needed. One of my favorite pictures from our “ffather/son roadtrip” in the summer of 2003, this is Nicholas curled up and napping in the 65E. He was nine years old then. A lanky teenager now, he is unlikely to be able to do that anymore!
What a wonderful trip that was.
A Deluge of Dashboards.
I’m leaving tomorrow morning for the East Coast. As is the way things work when going west-to-east, it will take me a day and a half to get there. Tomorrow I fly from Seattle to Newark, leaving mid-day from Sea-Tac and arriving in Newark around 8pm EDT. I’ll meet my dad in a hotel in Newark. The next morning we fly up to Burlington, Vermont fetch the car from RPM and then head off to the start of the 2008 New England 1000!

I heard that classic tune of teenage lust gone bad “Paradise By The Dashboard Light” (sung by Meatloaf) last week and thought of a new theme for the CPOTD: Dashboards. Can you name a car with just a view of the dash? Let’s give it a try!
