Here’s my suggestion (and particular conceit, in regards to appreciating the art of automobiles) and that is, cool lookin’ headlights!
The light fixture on the 356/early 911s was *identical* to those on up-to-1966 VW Bugs, and my fave, DKWSonderklasse’s.
Mercedes aped this look a few years back and I thought it was, once again, the most elegant-looking headlight in many an age.
CG, I bet in your archives you gots LOTS of cool looking fotos of headlights/taillight/appurtanences to spare!
BTW, it’s a 356 “A”…anyone know how to tell?
Is it the hood crest? The ducts by the turn signals?
Shape of the nose. Not a simple curve like the B’s. And the C’s have the big, ugly (but, OK, somewhat utilitarian) straight section at the lower edge of the hood.
