Car Photo of the Day: Double Jaguar Hero Shot

Since you guys are still ruminating over the last guessing game (that post is casting a long SHADOW) I present to you a hero shot of two Jaguars. Garth Norton’s S1 E-type is in the foreground – captured at a perfect moment with a wave from the driver (though the lens flare is a tad annoying), and his wife ahead driving the S2 E-type. A wonderful sunny late summer afternoon in Montana, and taken an hour and 100 miles prior to the Mystery Porsche Driver shown in the still unanswered CPotD guessing game from earlier in the week.

Today is a shockingly sunny January day so I’m going to unwrap the cat and wake it from its hibernation. Expect some photos later. 😉

  1. See my answer to the long Shadow puzzler. Is it Alan Jones of the F1 team of same name (Shadow, that is…)? he also raced Porsches and Can Am.

  2. PS How did the cat run? I meant to tell you that I ordered a set of billet steering rack plates from Ray Livingstone. The brakes are now done and Mel tells me it’s on schedule for a March completion date.

  3. As an aside to zcline’s comments: I don’t give a fat rat’s patootie who wins or loses the Stupor Bowl. Haven’t since the excreable players’ behavior after the ’87-ish player’s strike.

The *only* team in the NFL worth a bucket of warm shi…er, spit, is the Packers, which is the ONLY team owned by the city they’re maned for. The rest? A bunch of overpaid *boys* playing a *game* that exalts violence and sucks off the teat of public coffers while making private riches for their fur coat-wearing pansy white owners (yes, Pat Bowlen, I’m taking about your candy ass).

OK…I feel better. Happy Jagging, chuck!

  4. Well, since that Crybaby Brett Favre played so long for the Packers I consider them all crybabies. 😉

I usually direct most of my pro-sports ire on baseball though. 😛

  5. Football gets off *light*, compared to my shared-with-your’s ire towards baseballers. One reason I am a gearhead, a solitary one, is ‘cuz for the most part, many folks in that game are a swift PITA. Not to mention many in the race car game are smokers..and smokers are, with few exceptions, pigs.

I paraphrase: I wouldn’t join *any* car club that would have me as a member!

    Sometime, I’ll tell you how I feel…

    🙂
