Car Photo of the Day: Fangs of a Snake

I’ve had this image queued up for a while as I figured the guessing game from a few days back would still remain unresolved, but our resident Insane Canine pulled off a win around midnight last night. I also have to present my photos from my Jaguar outing yesterday, but I’m having software issues (more on that later!) preventing an update. Meanwhile, enjoy this gaze into the maw of a Shelby Mustang.

  1. That must be an early `67 as the moved the lights outwards later in the model year for better cooling.

  2. Hey, outzider, nothing wrong with *looking* at old ‘Murrican iron! It’s the driving that’s less-than-stellar…but that can be mostly fixed, too!

One reason I like CG’s fotos is, he is omniverous in his eye for beauty, and although the old ‘Stang ain’t much of a car, in stock form, it suuuuure looked good!

  3. Haha, you know I’m the only one on this blog who likes any automobile even remotely American. 🙂

It’s cold as hell, but actually made it above freezing yesterday. It’s colder here than in her home town, but she’s already become accustomed to how we work out here. It sits in the single digits, and then pops to 30 or so, and she says, “It’s warm out today!”

    There’s hope for her yet!

  4. Not true Nick. I LOVE American cars… Packard, Pierce-Arrow, Hudson, Nash, Studebaker, Brush, Auburns, Cords, Deusenbergs, you name it! They’ve all appeared here, and we’ve all lavished them with love and praise.
