I’m not in France at the moment, so I’ll be catching what I can on Speed TV over the weekend. Stanley Cup Game 7 and Le Mans, all on the same weekend!
I’m trying to work from home today, but instead am wrestling the technology that allows me to do that. Namely my VOIP phone system and VPN it rides on are acting up and driving me crazy. So I’m seeking a little peace as I pause in the struggle. What better way to calm nerves than to gaze upon a serene and inspiring landscape? This photograph was taken from a pause in the ascent of the Going To The Sun Road in Glacier National Park. I can’t recall exactly where, but from the looks of things it is still pretty low, but beyond the big switchback after the tunnel.
ahhhh.. I feel better already.
Art Dickenson sent me this link. I have no idea which run of the five Nick & I did is this one, but it does look a lot smoother from outside the car than it felt on the inside!
I hope the odd angle makes for a tough one… we’ll see.
Speaking of Mercedes 300SL’s and Le Mans. No, I don’t have any photos of any 300SLR’s (they are very rare machines!) but I do have a couple of photos that relate to the subjects at hand, and I have to make up for the Allante posted earlier, so here you go:
