Car Photo of the Day: another wtf…

Saw this on I-5 near Boeing Field on the way home last week, had to share. Sort of like the last WTF, in fact it looks like the same exact wing. Odd to see it on an 80’s Vintage 300zx though.

This is a cell-cam shot BTW. Not a bad photo for a cell-cam though. I didn’t have time to grab my digicam, and just used the Blackberry. I rarely use my cell-cam because I thought it takes crappy pics. But they are MUCH better it seems than my old Palm Treo’s shots. Still crappy overall compared to a “real camera” though.

W.T.F.

Um... yeah

It has been a while since I posted a car photo that fell into the ‘weird’ realm. So… here you go.

I have to ponder the value of downforce vs drag whenever I see these sorts of things though. Not even considering the location of the downforce relative to the drive wheels. I wonder what Jim Hall thinks when he sees one of these drive by?

Car Photo of the Day: Summer drawing to a close.

It is still sunny here in the Pacific Northwest, but we can tell the wet season approaches as our mornings are getting foggy. I remember snapping this photo one winter of a beater old Triumph I used to see on my daily commute. It was bondo-ed up the wazoo and I imagine its top leaked like a submarine with a screen door. Yet somebody drove it down I-5 every day through Everett.

Yes, I’m backfilling my 2008 GTTSR stories as fast as I can every night before I go to bed, so expect a summary post with links soon. Meanwhile you can go back and view them if you like via the “2008 GTTSR” link to the right, or just scroll down and go back. Once that’s done I’ll have a whole new slew of “name that car” posts and whatnot coming soon. Thanks for your patience.
